Allegro Dinkwanyane is a South African born entrepreneur, media personality and philanthropist. She is the Founder and CEO of Orgella Group which currently has nine entities including Orgella Media, Orgella Communications, Orgella Events and more. Allegro launched the first entity of her group company, entertainment blog Orgella Entertainment in October 2011 at the tender age of 21. To date, she is hailed as one of the youngest owners of a 100% black-owned media company in South Africa. We are thrilled to be joined by Allegro Dinkwanyane, as we discover what it takes to build a thriving career in the entrepreneurial sphere.

A social entrepreneur at heart, Allegro is passionate about giving back to the community. Central to her work is the grounding belief that young people, when afforded the right resources and motivation, can make their dreams come true and help make the world a better place. Her NPO charity foundation Orgella Helping Hands hosts annual events around South Africa which run various initiatives ranging from feeding and clothing the orphaned, homeless and underprivileged, to inspiring young people through motivational talks, education and career/business seminars.

In 2017, Forbes Africa recognised Allegro as one of Africa’s leading young entrepreneurs by listing her in the prestigious “30 Under 30”, cementing her as a young force to be reckoned with in the business world. Among her impressive list of accolades, Allegro has also been recognised as one of the 100 Most Influential Young South Africans, she has received the “Exceptional Women of Excellence” award from the Women Economic Forum in New Delhi, India as well as a “Footprints of Africa” recognition award for making her mark in Africa and creating employment opportunities for the youth. Most recently, she was appointed as the National Development Plan (NDP) 2030 Ambassador by the South African Department of Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation.

We are privileged to have the enterprising Allegro Dinkwanyane join us for what promises to be an inspirational evening in conversation as we unpack the myriad lessons she has learned along her entrepreneurial journey and how her leanings towards using her businesses as a vehicle to drive social change have shaped and propelled her career.
