Technology and innovation have revolutionized the nature of teaching and learning on a global scale. While access to resources continues to be a challenge for many across the African continent, entrepreneurs are finding new and innovative ways to improve the quality of education and keep it on track with global skills learning standards. We’re excited to be joined by University of Johannesburg lecturer and the Founder of The Little Ashford Preschools, Jena Mukina as we discuss how technology is altering the future of education in Africa!

Jena Mukina is a keen observer of learning environments with a vested interest in the methods, practice and impact of teaching in early childhood. Through innovation and the transformation of the learning environment, Jena has been at the helm of the introduction of cutting edge technology in the classroom not only within the early childhood development sector but also in her role as a full-time lecturer at the University of Johannesburg.

She currently runs fifteen operational preschools together with her team of over 200 employees, servicing over 1000 children with a conviction to invest in continued skills development and training.
